Here we are in the birth of the creative process of our project. lets begin offering ideas up and lets see where the wind blows us...

i will begin the dialogue below by describing some threads of ideas and support with imagery.

i spoke about an remarkable project a young girl created in a library where she “Grew a tree” from the pages of an open book with the pages themselves. i think this says VOLUMES in how a book can manifest images and scenes in our i imagination. i am suggesting we think on this tread. to reinforce this thought i found this commercial on youtube that reflects a similar world.

one aspect of this thread is we can create our environment form scenes of books like a stage set where we can create snapshots of books around the room. creating each segment of the walls and architecture a different scene.

Thread #1 “Manifesting pages”
Thread #2 “Physical scenes from books”

i like the paper buildings. i see them as flats on the walls and wrapping around walls to create the fantasy that we have left the real world and are in an abstract environment where one’s imagination is not bound OR EVEN is inspired to grow

2

i like the contrast with the blue sky and clouds

oh look. notice the book end..

like this tree.

i like larger scenes with more to see and explore visually. i can see in my m minds eye the scene in Peter Pan where they first fly off over the city of London

Robinson Crusoe
Robin Hood

This is where i would like to create the reading pit into a hobbit house that is not scary and a giant tree growing up the spiral staircase.

i see the grass roof and roof timbers up above the pit in the library but then we choose interior images of the hobbit house to dress the walls with.
